Am i right for the theater?

hi ! I am really interested in acting. It has almost become my life! I have takin dance for 7 years (tap, ballet, jazz, modern) and i am currently taking voice lessons. i have takin two acting classes and taking two more over the summer. Over all i was told i have alot of poise and a butiful singing voice ..... it is weird but wether its a small skit or a big production, i feel like something clicks inside of me and i turn into the person im acting like. i have been in 5 stge productions. I am still young and I am planning to have alot of training a head of me. thanks!

Reply:You sound like you have the credentials.....but have you been watching the new show on TV called, the next Elle Woods....some of those girls are great.....but are rejected.....as long as you keep up your studies I%26#039;m sure you%26#039;ll make it...as you%26#039;ve said you%26#039;ve already been in five stage productions so you must have something.....the main thing is that you have to have the look and talent for what their looking for.....if you fit the part and have talent then I%26#039;m sure that they%26#039;ll go for you, Good luck, I hope you make it !!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:go for it person

I have been doing National Tours for 5 years now.

Annie was my first Peter Pan my second, and so on.

You sound like you have the drive. But you need MAJOR talent. I had to get vocal coach, voice lessons, acting coach, acting lessons, ect. It%26#039;s extremely pricey. No lie. Managers are hard to get. You can%26#039;t just say you want to be a star. You have to strive and work for it! It%26#039;s not a lesiure practice. It takes hours and hours and years of practice. I%26#039;ve been rejected, Like someone said: They may be super talented but they will still say you%26#039;re not right for the part. So keep dreaming but 7 years won%26#039;t get very far in show business. But try and keep going for it. Who Knows? Maybe one day I%26#039;ll see you on a tour. =/
Reply:who knows?
